I’m Qinfeng “Q” Chen, cofounder and CEO of Pontem AI. I’m building the foundation for AI systems that can understand and act in the physical world. Before Pontem, I spent a decade at Palantir, where I led Edge AI across defense, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

My grandfather gave me the name 勤峰 (Qínfēng, pronounced “chin-feng”): Qin for hard work, Feng for peak, together a wish that I would aim high and put in the work to get there. I never took an English name, keeping this one to honor his memory.
